Warriors boys finish 3rd in Bancroft

BANCROFT, Iowa – The North Union Warriors boys golf team finished third at North Kossuth Golf Course on Thursday after shooting a 163. Estherville won the triangular, shooting a 157.

Leading the Warriors shooting a 36 and placing first was Drew Henderson, while Cole Nicoson placed seventh after shooting a 41. Caden Walders placed 11th shooting a 42, while Caden Zotz shot a 44 for 12th place. Hudson Tirevold shot a 49 to lock in a 17th-place finish.

The Warriors’ next meet is against West Bend-Mallard at 4:15 on Monday at Country Green Golf Course.

Warriors girls take 3rd in Estherville

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa – The North Union girls golf team finished third in a golf triangular on Thursday at Estherville golf course after posting a team score of 303. Algona won the meet with a score of 204.

Hannah Nielson shot a 54 for the Warriors, while Aliyah Jones shot a 71, and Lexi Thompson shot a 78.

The Warriors’ next meet is at 4:15 against West Bend-Mallard at Kossuth Golf Course on Monday.
