JANESVILLE – The Martin County West Mavericks put on a dominant showing against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, securing a 15-3 victory in a nonconference softball game Tuesday night.

Pitching for the Mavericks was Maddie Carlson, who got the win with 10 strikeouts and two walks allowed over five innings.

The leading hitters for the Mavericks were Emily Schettler with three hits, two doubles and four RBIs, while Carlson had two hits, one double, and an RBI. Addy Wohlhuter had two hits, a double and two RBIs, while Emily Anderson had two doubles and an RBI. Teya Schmidtke had two hits and an RBI, while Cami Clow hit a double and brought in two runs. Hannah Rosenberg had a double in the outing.

The Mavericks will host Nicollet for a 4:30 p.m. game on Thursday.
