FAIRMONT 76, TCU 32

MONTGOMERY – The Fairmont Cardinals defeated the Tri-City United Titans 76-32 in a Big South Conference boys basketball Friday night.

Leading the Cardinals was Logan Junkermeier with 24 points and six rebounds, while Oliver Tordsen had 16 points and nine rebounds. Joseph Hackett had 8 points and three rebounds, while Hadan Toomer had 8 points and two rebounds.

Now 13-8 overall and 9-7 in conference play, the Cardinals head to Pipestone for a 7:30 p.m. game on Tuesday.

BELLE PLAINE 90, BEA 86

BLUE EARTH – The Blue Earth Area Buccaneers fell to Belle Plaine 90-86 in a Big South Conference basketball game Friday night.

Leading the Buccaneers was Branson Hauskins with 29 points and five rebounds, while Will Bromeland had 29 points and three rebounds. Gage Barker had 14 points and seven rebounds, while Sully Dahlberg had 12 points and six rebounds

The Buccaneers are now 9-12 overall and 4-10 in conference play head to Redwood Valley for a 7:15 p.m. game on Tuesday.

WORTHINGTON 138.875, MAGIC 138.125

FAIRMONT – The Martin County Area Magic fell to Worthington 138.875-138.125 in the Big South Conference Championship meet Friday night.

Leading the Magic was Lillie Schultz, who secured first all-around with a score of 35.475, first in the vault (9.25), second on the bars (8.625), seventh on the beam (8.5), and first in the floor exercise (9.1). Jadyn Montgomery secured second all-around with a score of 34.725, second in the vault (8.925), third on the bars (8.5), sixth on the beam (8.5), and fourth in the floor exercise (8.8). Nola Thedens secured fifth all-around scoring a 33.45, fourth in the vault (8.775), tenth on the bars (7.775), tenth on the beam (8.35), and seventh in the floor exercise (8.55).
