FAIRMONT – The Fairmont Cardinals (11-9-1) lit the lamp three times in a 3-1 victory over Windom in a Big South Conference girls hockey game Tuesday night.
Leading the Cardinals was Alexis Haycraft with two goals, while Avery Kurt had a goal. Kynlee Beemer had an assist and goalie IIana Moeller had 17 saves.
Fairmont hosts Mankato West at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

FOREST CITY 66, NORTH UNION 32
FOREST CITY, IA – The North Union Warriors (9-5) girls basketball team fell to Forest City 66-32 in a Top of Iowa Conference basketball game Tuesday night.
Leading the Warriors was Ainsley Ulrich with 21 points and three rebounds, while Shallie Walders had 7 points and two rebounds. Maisey Bierstedt had 4 points and three rebounds on the night.
North Union hosts Northwood-Kensett at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

TRIMONT – The Martin County West Mavericks (15-3) defeated Nicollet 61-48 in a Tomahawk-Valley Conference, Valley Division game Tuesday night.
Leading the Mavericks was Emily Anderson with 21 points and five rebounds, while Avery Sanders had 13 points. Emily Schettler had 12 points and four rebounds, while Courtney Anderson had 6 points and four rebounds.
The Mavericks head to St. Clair at 7 p.m. on Friday.

FOREST CITY, IA – The North Union Warriors (5-9) fell 68-32 to Forest City Tuesday night in a Top of Iowa Conference basketball game.
Leading the Warriors was Caden Walders with 8 points, while Lane Bruhn had 7 points and three rebounds. Khael Jones had 6 points and three rebounds, while Greyson Colegrove had 6 points and two rebounds
North Union hosts Northwood-Kenset at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.

SAINT PETER – The Blue Earth Area Buccaneers (7-8) were defeated by St. Peter 87-70 Tuesday night in a Big South Conference basketball game.
Leading the Buccaneers was Gage Barker with 23 points and five rebounds, while Branson Hauskins had 20 points. Sully Dahlberg had 13 points and four rebounds, while Jacob Grandgenett had 9 points and two rebounds.
The Buccaneers host Tri-City United at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
