Consider getting involved in Kids Against Hunger
To the Editor:
Thanksgiving for many is a season of plenty. Remember your parents saying “clean your plate, kids are starving somewhere?” Truth is, locally as well as globally, hunger is real and persistent, and often we feel just cleaning our plate won’t help. For the 16th time there is an easy, accessible and local way to impact HUNGER, called KIDS AGAINST HUNGER food pack, coming up Feb. 8, 2025 at the Fairmont National Guard Armory. Effective? Almost 1.7 MILLION meals and over $ 440,000 has been raised here to fund the locally packed meals. Local and even global kids receive the food. You can make an impact with one or both of 2-Be’s below.
