Lauralee Silker
WAUKEE, Iowa — Lauralee Silker, 72, passed away on March 6, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 2, 1954, in Fairmont, Minn. Lauralee was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her witty sense of humor and kindness. She truly loved her plants, watching musicals, and reading books.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lenore Wendt. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Jakob (Erin), Cody (Mollie), Logan (Nicole), Zakery (Olya); and four granddaughters: Evangeline, Cordelia, Elliot, Austyn.
A private family service will be held to celebrate her life.
