Gus M. Zender
SAINT JAMES — Services for Gus M. Zender, 70, of Saint James, Minn., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, at First Presbyterian Church in Saint James, Minn. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at the First Presbyterian Church, Saint James, Minn. Gus passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at his home in Saint James, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home of Trimont, Welcome, and Sherburn is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gus was born on Nov. 18, 1954, in Mankato, Minn., the son of Stanley and Elaine Zender and grew up in Saint James.
He is survived by his two daughters, Allison Zender of New Ulm, Minn.; Emma Zender of Saint James, Minn.; brothers, David Zender of St. Peter, Minn., Charlie Zender of Blaine, Minn. and Rick Zender of Spokane, Washington, Terry Burke of Waco, Texas; Step mother-in-law, Marcy Roe of Grey Eagle, Minn.; sister-in-law, June Tschida of Alexandria, Minn.; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
