FAIRMONT — A Celebration of Life Service for Russell W. Thompson, 72, of Fairmont, Minn., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the United Methodist Church in Fairmont. Burial will be following the service in Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue one hour prior to the time of service at the church. Russ passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
