A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

David was born on Oct. 25, 1946, to Raymond and Elaine (Blome) Worden in Blue Earth, Minn.

David was in the Army and worked many jobs throughout his life. David served as a jailer for the Martin County Sheriff’s Department for over 20 years until he retired. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with friends, family, camping, fishing, classic cars, and doing upholstery.

David married Shari (Quade) in Newell, Iowa on June 25, 1977.

He is survived by his children, David Worden Jr. of Motley, Minn, JoAnn Widrig of Rapid City, S.D., Tami (Jason) Hill of Exland, Wis., Jason (Mary) Worden of Fairmont, Minn. 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Paula (Palmer) Olson of Storm Lake, Iowa, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings.
