A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Erwin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, at Waverly Lutheran Church in rural Trimont. Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to Erwin’s service at the church on Friday. Following Erwin’s services, he will be buried at the Waverly Lutheran Church Cemetery. Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center of Trimont and Welcome is assisting the family with arrangements.

Erwin Atzenhoefer was born on Sept. 27, 1939, to Willard and Dora Atzenhoefer on their family farm.

Erwin will forever be remembered by his loving wife of 62 years, Rosemary; daughters, Gail Lewis and Jessica Howe; sons, Michael Atzenhoefer and Dale Atzenhoefer; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Atzenhoefer and Kenneth Atzenhoefer; sister, Karen Manders; nieces and nephews; as well as many other family and friends.
