Dennis D. Sonnabend
AMBOY — Dennis Dean Sonnabend, 83, of Amboy, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4 at Mapleton Community Home. Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 18 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Vernon Center. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to noon, prior to the service. Private family burial will take place at Basey Cemetery.
Denny was born on Aug. 13, 1941, in Vernon Center Township to Leona and Eric Sonnabend.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Dean of Vernon Center; daughter, Kari Healy of Mapleton; grandchildren, Brittany Miller, Joshua Sonnabend, Rachel Sonnabend, Carson Healy, and Eli Healy; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Madison, and Ella Miller; and his sister Beverly Sonnabend.
