Darlene was called to her eternal rest on Friday morning, Dec. 13, 2024, at her home in Jackson, Minn. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson and one hour prior to the services at the church. There will be a Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church.

Darlene Anna Frodermann was born on Feb. 5, 1935, in Sioux Valley, Minn. to her parents Aug. and Sena Frodermann.

Darlene is survived by her four sons, Gary Whisney of rural Jackson, Minn., Donald Whisney of Jackson, Minn., Duane Whisney of Jackson, Minn., Kevin Whisney of Logan, Iowa; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Adeline Bass of Okabena, Minn., Dorothy Lass of Luverne, Minn., LaVonne Polzine of Wilmont, Minn., Janice Johnson of Fairmont, Minn., Shirley Christian of rural Welcome, Minn., Linda Laman of Humboldt, Iowa; sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
