Allie B. Krause
HUNTLEY — Allie B. Krause, 93, of Huntley, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Basey Cemetery in rural Winnebago.
Allie was born on July 13, 1931, in Aspermont, Texas to James and Maude (Reiner) Royalty. The family would later move to Ariz., where Allie would spend most of her childhood. She graduated from high school in Yuma, Ariz. Allie later moved north and married Glen Richison and the couple was blessed with one son, Gordon. They later divorced. Allie then met Milton Krause. The couple was married and settled in Winnebago, before later moving to Huntley.
Allie took care of her son Gordy and was the best caretaker to him. She was a quiet, unassuming woman. She kept to herself but still had several extremely close friends in the Huntley area.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Elizabeth Peterson, Cheryl Sigman, Jackie Landis, and Marlys O’Laughlin; nephews; Michael Richison, Ken Richison, Chuck Hunter, and David Hunter; close friends and neighbors, Richard and Lois Armon; many great nieces and nephews, and many more close friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton, and by her son, Gordy in 2012.
