ANACORTES — Chara Curtis (born Patricia Eloise Mahar) died in her home in Anacortes, Wash., on Oct. 30, 2024. She was born May 14, 1950, in Austin Minn., to Harold Eugene Louis Mahar and Gloria Lavalleur Mahar. Her family moved to Fairmont, Minn., where she was raised along with her six siblings.
