Paulette M. Larson
ALBERT LEA — Paulette Mae “Hanevik” Larson passed away on Sept. 23, 2024, with family by her side. Celebration of life will be held on Nov. 23, at the Blue Earth Community Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All flowers were donated to St. Lukes in honor of Paulette.
Paulette was born March 26, 1952, in Albert Lea, to Berner and Lauretta Hanevik. She attended school in Frost, Minn., and graduated in 1970. On Aug. 15, 1970, she married the love of her life Merle Gene Larson at United Lutheran Church in Frost. They were blessed with a son, Gary. Paulette was employed for over 30 years by St. Lukes in Blue Earth until she retired in 2019. In 2023, she moved in with her son and daughter-in-law.
She will be remembered for having a loving heart and always being there to help out a friend. Paulette loved her family, especially her son and grandchildren. Her love of fishing, snowmobiling, and motorcycles, and trips to Duluth and Lake Superior will be memories treasured forever.
Paulette will be greatly missed by her son Gary (Amanda) of Montrose; grandchildren, Grayson, Charlize, and Callum Larson; sister Wanda (Rodger) Samdal of Windom Minn., and many other relatives and friends too numerous to list.
She is preceded in death are her husband Merle Larson, precious granddaughter, Emory Rose Larson, parents Berner and Lauretta Hanevik, sister Lu Kempf, brothers Ronny and Doug Hanevik, parents-in-law Curtis and Alice Larson, and brother-in-law Larry Larson.
