Linda Kay Jahnke was born on Aug. 7, 1948, to Ralph and Alvina (Jackson) Jahnke in Blue Earth, Minn. She graduated from Elmore High School in 1966.

On March 4, 1967, Linda was united in marriage to Darrel Sager at the Methodist Church in Elmore, Minn. They made their home in Fairmont and were blessed with a daughter, Traci. Linda worked at various places through the years as a bookkeeper including, Our Own Hardware, K & W Electric, and Fairmont Concrete.

Linda enjoyed watching television, especially Guy’s Grocery Games and NASCAR, reading, crafting, sewing, and quilting. Linda and Darrel enjoyed traveling together and some of their favorite spots included Branson and the North Shore. Linda’s pride and joy was her granddaughter, Alexis. She loved attending her school and sporting events. Linda could also be found enjoying her flowers, especially her lilies.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrel Sager of Fairmont; daughter, Traci (John) Paegel of Mankato; granddaughter, Alexis (Gerald) Veaux of Winnebago; brothers and sisters, Annie Larson (special friend, Roger Van Muyden) of Inman, S.C., Ralph Jahnke, Jr. (Deb) of Elmore, Ronnie (Donita) Jahnke of Mankato, Sheryl (Dale) Aukes of Elmore; sister-in-law, Audrey Mohr of Bemidji; brother-in-law Curt Sager of Truman; many nieces, nephews and other extended families.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Alvina Janhke; parents-in-law, Walter and Olga Sager; brother, Randy Jahnke; and brothers-in-law, Arlo (LeeAnn) Sager and Otto Mohr.
