Connell was called to his eternal rest on Monday evening, Sept. 30, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Visitation will be one hour before the services on Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell, MN. Arrangements for the family by Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome.

Connell was born on February 17, 1960, to Charles and Marilyn (Holmberg) Connell in Faulkton, South Dakota. He moved with his family to Rapid City and was a 1978 graduate of Rapid City High School. Connell was employed in the Rapid City area until moving to Dunnell in 1993 to be employed at Glasstite for many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell. Connell enjoyed visiting with people and working on and painting cars.

He is survived by his siblings, Dennis (Vickie) Connell of Cresbard, S. Dak., Debra (Craig) Tomach, Diane (Ron) Myers of Irvington, Iowa, and Steve (Carolyn) Connell of Rapid City, S. Dak.; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Connell was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and other relatives.
