Lynette Joy Johnson
BOZEMAN, Mont. — Lynette Joy Johnson, 60, of Bozeman, Mont., passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, in Bozeman, as a result of a car/pedestrian accident. Cremation was entrusted to Dahl Funeral and Cremation Service.
Lynette was born Aug. 7, 1964, in Trimont, Minn., the daughter of Maynard and Audrey Johnson. She received her primary education in Fairmont, Minn. and graduated from Fairmont High School. Later, she graduated from Montana State University with a major in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology. Additionally, after completing studies at Boulder College of Massage Therapy she started and built a successful massage therapy practice in Bozeman that she operated up until her passing.
She married Clark Alexis and they welcomed two daughters into their lives, Hannah and Estelle. As Lynette experienced life’s challenges with quiet determination, her focus was always on making a better life for her daughters. She had a love of wildlife and enjoyed painting some of the beautiful scenery she experienced hiking throughout Montana.
Lynette is survived by her daughters, Hannah and Estelle; her parents, Maynard and Audrey Johnson of Fairmont Minn.; brothers, Bryan Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M., Terry (Diane) Johnson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; nephews, great-nephews, great-niece, many cousins, great-aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her grandparents and sister-in-law, Tara Fletcher.
