FAIRMONT — Private family services for James “Jim” Peter Chukuske, age 96, of Fairmont, Minn., formerly of Welcome, Minn., will be held at a later date in Welcome.

Jim passed away peacefully Thursday morning, Aug. 15, 2024, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center.

Jim is survived by his son, Bill (Laurie) Chukuske of Welcome, Minn.; daughter, Tammy Williams of Welcome, Minn; daughter, Cindy (Wayne) Boler of Sioux Falls, S.D.; son, Jamie Chukuske of Sherburn, Minn.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Lange of Burnsville, Minn.; sister-in-law, Margaret Chukuske of California; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings; wife, Carol Chukuske; son-in-law, Danny Williams; and two daughters-in-law, Deb (Hartwig) Chukuske and Monica (Martin) Chukuske. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
