Kathleen R. Boese
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Kathleen “Kathy” Rae Boese, age 80, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away peacefully Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the age of 80. Kathy “The Queen” Boese was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Kathy was born Nov. 10, 1943, to Joe and June (Gutzke) Maurer. After graduating from Richfield High School, she went on to the MN School of Business and worked all over the country. Kathy and her husband, Frank, retired as owners of Jubilee Foods in Mound, Minn.
Kathy “The Queen” loved to entertain in “sparkling fashion.” Her personality was as bright as the clothes, shoes and purses she wore and carried. She loved to golf, play bridge, bunco and get royal flushes. There is a reason she retired in Las Vegas, Nev.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frank “The King”; children, Robert and Rebecca; grandson, Cooper Andrajack; sister, Dianne Erickson and her husband, Jim Eberhard; sister-in-law, Mary Lindmark; many nieces and nephews; and her “Court” of many friends that she gained throughout her lifetime.
Kathy brought enormous amounts of energy into this world and made a lot of memories for herself and others. She will be dearly missed.
A Catholic funeral service and a celebration of life for Kathy will be announced at a later date.
