Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Burkhart
HUMBOLDT, Iowa — Elizabeth “Betty” Mae (Ackerson) Burkhart of Humboldt, Iowa, formerly of East Chain, Minn., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at the age of 93. Services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 18, at Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt, Iowa, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Lentz Funeral Home in Algona, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. Marc (Lori) Burkhart of Bailey Island, Maine, and Greg Burkhart of Fairmont, Minn.; four grandsons; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Ackerson of Keokuk, Iowa; brother-in-law, Henry Burkhart of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. www.lentzfuneralhome.com
