Mary passed away Monday morning, Feb. 21, 2022, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Memorials are preferred to the Martin County Humane Society. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary Lou (Erb) Bolster was born April 8, 1932, to Joseph and Alice (Jacobson) Erb in Page, N.D. She graduated from Wells High School and then attended Mankato Vo-Tech College for nursing. On April 2, 1955, Mary was united in marriage to Maynard “Bunny” Bolster in Fairmont. They made their home in Fairmont. Mary worked for many years at the Fairmont Hospital as an LPN in the nursery. Mary was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont and was active with the Martin County Humane Society. Mary helped with the Red Cross and volunteered in North Dakota during the floods. She loved reading, puzzles, crossword puzzles and cats. Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Richard (Marge) Bolster of Fairmont, Jon (Tonya) Bolster of Faribault, and Thomas Bolster of Fairmont; three daughters, Patricia Burnham of Mitchell, S.D., Kayleen Rosenberg of New Mexico, and Teresa (Michael) Sathoff of Fairmont; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria Landcaster of Ohio, and Karen Cole of Arizona; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maynard “Bunny” Bolster; son-in-law, David Burnham; granddaughter, Cindy McNair; and many brothers and sisters. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
