Richard ‘Rick’ Weber
SHERBURN – A Celebration of Life visitation for Richard W. “Rick” Weber, 63, of Sherburn, Minn., will be held 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn, Minn. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville, Iowa, by Pastor Cory Allard.
Rick entered into his eternal rest on Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2016, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Richard Wayne Weber was born March 13, 1953, in Estherville, Iowa, to Wayne and LoEtta (Nauss) Weber. He attended school at Sherburn where he participated in football, wrestling and track throwing the shot put and discus. Rick graduated with the class of 1972 from Sherburn-Dunnell High School. He then attended Iowa Lakes Community College and then attended Southwest State Minnesota State College in Marshall.
In 1974, Rick was united in marriage to Cheri VanderSluis in Archer, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived and worked in various jobs in Sherburn, Estherville and Forest City, Iowa. Rick later returned to Sherburn, where he owned and operated Rick’s Caf in Sherburn and most recently was employed at Buy-Rite Motors in Fairmont.
He greatly enjoyed fishing, watching old western movies and had a love for animals.
He is survived by his two children: daughter, Christi Anderson of Sheldon, Iowa; and son, Josh (Sheryl) Weber of Sheldon, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Austin, Kendra, Michael, Ethan and Tristan Anderson, Tayler, Emma and Paige Weber; two brothers, Steven (Cindy) Weber of Eagle Lake, Minn., and Donald (Shannon) Weber of Sherburn, Minn.; special friend, Kathy Frolik of Sherburn, Minn.; aunt, Darlene Hull of Valley Springs, Calif.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Donetta Weber; grandparents; uncle, Delbert Hull; cousin, Dennis Hull; and other relatives.
