WELCOME — The Burn Site in Welcome will be open for Welcome residents only from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow, April 26. Only wood that is six inches in diameter or smaller is permitted. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Square Dance group, Lake Promenaders, will meet at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at the Shaw Home at 804 West First Street in Welcome. Dancers and watchers are welcome to join them.

The Sherburn Fire Department Relief Association will have a Pancake Feed fundraiser from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at the Sherburn Fire Hall. The cost is a free-will donation.

Condolences to the families of Joan Ellis and Mary Winkleman from the Trimont and Ormsby area. They will be missed.

There will be one more April Tuesday Coffee Hour from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on April 29 at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont. The May Tuesday Coffee Hours will be from

8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome.

There are American Red Cross blood drives available in the area in May. Grace Lutheran Church will host a May 15 drive. St. Vianney Catholic Church will host a May 19 drive. Live Fit Gym will host a May 23 drive. All of these drives are in Fairmont. Welcome Clean Up Day is on May 10. Get tickets for appliances for a fee at the City Hall. Bring other items to the truck behind the Fire Hall for free until it’s full.

The Welcome High School All Class Reunion is scheduled for July 26 at the Fox Lake Event Center beginning at 3 p.m. Donations to cover expenses may be sent to Helen Rode at 515 Harrison St. in Welcome. Plan to attend.
