Fairmont claims silver at Big South Conference tournament
FAIRMONT — Twenty-six members of the Fairmont Speech Team competed at The Big South Conference Speech Tournament on March 13 in Redwood Falls, Minn.
In the Large School Division, Fairmont was the Conference Runner-up with 148 points and Marshall was the Big South Conference Champion with 174 points.
Six Fairmont speakers were named All-Conference by placing First and Second in their category. Two Fairmont Speakers were named All-Conference Honorable Mention by placing 3rd in their category.
