SHERBURN — A Lunch-N-Learn program will be at 11 a.m. today followed by a lunch at the First Lutheran Church in Trimont. These programs are free to any senior citizen in Martin County. Crest appreciates a free-will donation for the lunch.

Hamburger Night will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, at the Sherburn Legion. The menu includes a burger, salad, and baked beans for only $10. Sounds yummy.

Due to the frigid weather, the Ruby’s Pantry grocery distribution originally scheduled on Feb. 17 has been postponed to 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the Regional Worship Center Parking Lot in Sherburn.

Congratulations to Anna Mae Ambrose who celebrated her 99th birthday at an open house on Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. What a milestone birthday.

Sherburn Theatre will feature “Paddington in Peru” this weekend. The showtimes are at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $5. A concession stand will be available.

The Temperance Lake Ridge facility will have a Memory Cafe meeting at 3 p.m. on Feb. 24 as a support group for caregivers and families of any dementia patient.

The Martin County West boy’s hockey team will have a playoff game at 7 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Fairmont Arena. The boy’s basketball team will compete with Winthrop at 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 20 in Winthrop. The Gymnastics State Tournament will be held on Feb. 21. The Individual Wrestling State Tournament will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 22 in Dawson.
