CEYLON — The Cribbage Tournament will begin at 1:15 p.m. today with registration at the Welcome Legion Hall. They will also have a tournament on Feb. 15. They hold a tournament on the second and third Saturdays until spring. All cribbage players are welcome.

The Circle of Faith Parishes have services at 9 a.m. on Sunday at Waverly Lutheran Church (north of Welcome) and 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon. St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will have 9:30 a.m. services and their partner Church in Sherburn will have 8 and 10:30 a.m. services at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The Ladies’ Group in Wilbert will have a special Valentine’s Potluck lunch at noon on Feb. 13 for the congregation. Those who do not have a sweetheart to bring should bring a friend. Beverages will be provided. Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have an evening service at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. They have a Bible Class at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays. Area residents are welcome to join these events at area churches.

The Ceylon City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. on Feb. 11 at City Hall. All members are encouraged to attend. Public comments and questions will be accepted at the beginning of each meeting. To be on the regular agenda, contact City Hall at (507) 632-4653.

The Coffee Lovers group meets from 8:30 to 10 a.m. every Thursday in the banquet room in the back of the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon. Area residents are welcome to join for fellowship and coffee.

The Red Cross Blood Drives will be on Feb. 10 at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont, on Feb. 11 and 12 at the Best Western Hotel in Fairmont, on Feb. 21 at the American Legion in Fairmont, on Feb. 24 at the St. Paul’s Community Church in Welcome and on Feb. 25 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont.
