CEYLON — Tomorrow is Dec. 1 and the Circle of Faith Parishes will change service locations for this month. Waverly Lutheran north of Welcome will have services at 9 a.m. on Sundays in Dec. and St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon will have Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. This month. The First Lutheran Church in Trimont will have its annual Carol Sing at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1. Our Savior Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have their 5:30 p.m. Service on Saturday, Dec. 7. They have a Bible Study group each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will have Sunday services at 9:30 a.m. Their LWML will meet for a Christmas social at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 12. Area residents are welcome to attend these events and services.

There will be a Red Cross Blood drive on Dec. 2 at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont and the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. There will be a blood drive on Dec. 13 at Live Fit Gym and on Dec. 20 both in Fairmont. Blood is urgently needed now so give it if you are able.

The Lake Belt Bar and Grill will have Puzzle Races from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, and Trivia Night on Dec. 14.

There will be a Santa Day for children in the Ceylon area sponsored by Helping Hands of Ceylon non-profit from 2 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 21. at the old city hall. That morning, they are having a toy drive and parents may pick presents for their children in Ceylon from 10 a.m. to noon. Parents should fill out the form at the City Hall or Post Office and return it by Dec. 20.

The Trimont Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Ham Bingo to help the Trimont Fire Department at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont.

The Civic and Commerce Club in Sherburn will have their annual Deck the Halls Christmas tree decorating contest and vendor fair on Dec. 7 and 8 at the MCW High School in Sherburn.
