FAIRMONT– Two more residents filed for open Fairmont City Council positions on Thursday.

Britney Kawecki of 1210 Albion Avenue filed for the councilmember at-large seat. Kawecki currently holds the Ward 2 seat. Michele Miller, the incumbent, also filed for the at-large seat last week.

Todd Smith of 903 E. 1st Street filed for the Ward 4 seat. Incumbent Wayne Hasek also filed for the seat last week.

Other filings so far include Amber Hansen for the open Ward 2 seat and Tom Winter for the open Ward 3 seat, which Randy Lubenow currently holds.

Filing is open through Aug. 13.
