Nickerson, 50, of Truman was convicted of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway; fined $485, sentenced to jail 90 days, stay 90 days for one year, unsupervised probation one year, no same or similar, write letters to the Winnebago and Fairmont papers within 60 days on the dangers of distracted driving, these letters should be submitted to the county attorney for approval prior to being submitted to the paper.
Christian M. Jagodzinske, 28, of Welcome, was convicted of drivier must carry proof of insurance when operating vehicle; fined $360, sentenced to jail 30 days, stay 30 days for one year, unsupervised probation one year, no same or similar, pay restitution, once a certificate of restitution is filed, restitution is reserved for 30 days. Received an additional charge of traffic collision-failure to notify owner of damaged property; dismissed.
