Mertins, 54, of Minnesota Lake, was convicted of game and fish-take/possess big game out of season; sentenced to jail 364 days, stay 356 days for two years, credit for time served eight days, sentenced to service five days for indeterminate, supervised probation two years, cognitive skill training, complete as directed by agent, follow all State and Federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, give a DNA sample when directed. Received an additional charge of game-license required to take/buy/sell/transport/possess protected wild animals; dismissed.

Jackson Sellers, 24, of Mapleton, was convicted of driving while impaired-second degree driving while impaired-two or more aggravating factors; fined $615, sentenced to jail 364 days, stay 274 days for two years, sentenced to service two days for indeterminate, credit for time served three days, supervised probation two years, follow all recommendations of evaluation, follow all recommendations of the current comprehensive assessment, follow all recommendations of treatment provider upon discharge, follow all recommendations of the mental health assessment, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, follow all State and Federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.
