John L. Paulsen, 40, of Austin was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Also convicted of operating a vehicle with expired driver’s license-over 21; fined $100. Also convicted of a instruction permit violation-18 years old or older; fined $50.
Ryan M. Matejka, 36, of Hampton was convicted of driving over/through/around highway barricade; fined $125. Received an additional charge of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; dismissed.
Melanie L. Augst, 41, of Saint James was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property with no consent; fined $1,185, supervised probation five years, follow all state and federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, give a DNA sample when directed, do not register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and your civil rights are fully restored, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, provide list of prescribed medication to probation officer, complete comprehensive assessment, pay restitution, write letter of apology as directed by supervising agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, cognitive skill training.
Kelly J. Peterson, 37, of Truman was convicted of fifth-degree possession of drugs in schedule I, II, III, or IV-not small amount of marijuana; fined $100, sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served 11 days, supervised probation five years, follow all state and federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, give a DNA sample when directed, complete comprehensive assessment, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete diagnostic assessment, participate in screening for the FMJ Treatment Court Program and successfully complete the program if accept, contact probation after release from custody.
