Colton D. Mammenga, 34, of Welcome, was convicted of endangering a child with firearm access; fined $85, sentenced to Minnesota correctional facility 18 months, stay for five years, sentenced to jail 90 days, supervised probation five years, follow all state and federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol or controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, individual therapy, continue with all mental health recommendations, including individual therapy, until formally discharged, follow all recommendations for continued care and aftercare. Received an additional charge of 2nd degree manslaughter- culpable negligence creating unreasonable risk, 2nd degree manslaughter- attempt to commit violation, and negligent storage of loaded firearm that child may access ; all dismissed.
Jared T. Fish, 28, of Fairmont was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $250, restitution $250, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution of $250, no same or similar. Additional charge of failure of driver turning left to yield right-of-way to oncoming traffic was dismissed.
