David J. Metteer, 35, of Fairmont was convicted of possess ammo/any firearm-previous felony conviction; fined $685, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 349 days for two years, credit for time served 16 days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, participate in individual therapy with an approved provider as directed and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, have no assaultive or threatening behaviors while in probation, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Jane R. Silverthorn, 68, of Fairmont was convicted of operate unregistered vehicle without plates on public streets or highways; fined $185. Also convicted of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type; fined $100.
Bruce A. Anderson Jr., 39, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $1,185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 36 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Additional felony charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and misdemeanor charges of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.
Jabyron A. Wiley, 37, of Des Moines, Iowa was convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $185. Additional charge of failure to stop at stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway was dismissed.
Jose H. Martinez Zuniga, 31, of Chicago, Ill. was convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $185. Additional charge of speeding was dismissed.
Aloha Otto, 26, of Fairmont was convicted of fifth-degree assault; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 87 days for one year, credit for time served three days, one year unsupervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no same or similar.
