No proof of motor vehicle insurance — Bryan D. Lempkie, 43, of Winnebago; Mason M. Dion, 24, of Glendale, Ariz.; each fined $285.

Anthony J. Woodraska, 33, of Bayport, Minn. received an amended court decision on a felony charge of identity theft-transfer/use/possess identity of other person; commit to Commissioner of Corrections 30 months. Also received an amended court decision on a felony charge of receiving stolen property; fined $4,194.85, restitution $4,194.85, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 21 months, restitution amounts to be taken from prison earnings.

Lane R. Anderson, 25, of Mankato was convicted of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on streets or highways; fined $25,747.80, restitution $24,647.80, one year unsupervised probation, payments toward case should be applied to restitution first, defendant is to pay a minimum of $400 a month towards the restitution amount.

Michael L. Jensen, 56, of Mankato was convicted of fourth-degree damage to property-intentional damage-other circumstances; fined $360, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 82 days for one year, credit for time served eight days, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Brian A. Stevermer, 45, of Blue Earth was convicted on a felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more of a narcotic; fined $1,160, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 21 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 20 days, credit for time served 20 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation department within 24 hours of sentencing, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, cognitive skill training “thinking for a Change” as directed by agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of identity theft-transfer/possess/use identity of other person was dismissed.

Samuel R. Deegan, 27, of Mankato was convicted of give peace officer false name/birthdate/ID card; fined $75, sentenced to jail seven days, credit for time served seven days.
