Eagles Club for Friday karaoke

Free testers at Recovery in Motion

Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.

De-Age Your Brain with Janice Novak

Janice Novak will have a class about de-aging the brain at 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 in a Zoom meeting. Current research shows that lifestyle and diet have a big effect on how the brain ages. The class will discuss which ‘superfoods’ reduce the damaging effects of toxins and inflammation on the brain and which nutrients are great for memory, attention, processing information, and reducing stress. Clay Mosaic craft at the library

A Clay Mosaic Craft for all ages will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 5, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. There is no cost to attend, and registration is not required. For additional information, contact the Martin County Library in Fairmont at (507) 238-4207

Craig Coffman will teach piano lessons for individuals ages 13 and up from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12, in a Zoom meeting. Learn to play piano the way professionals do using chords. The class includes the online book, online follow-up lessons, a recording of the class, and an optional periodic question and answer session. Guitar with Craig Coffman

Craig Coffman will teach guitar lessons for individuals ages 13 and up from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, in a Zoom meeting. This course will teach basic chords and get students playing along with their favorite songs right away.
