Kiwanis to hear from Bravo Zulu House
Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26 at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be Tim Murray of the Bravo Zulu House. Murray will provide an update on the Bravo Zulu House. The public is invited to attend.
Kendall Qualls to speak at Pints and Politics
Martin County Pints and Politics will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 at the Knights of Columbus in Fairmont. The speaker will be Kendall Qualls, a Vice President of a Fortune 100 healthcare company. Qualls will speak about, “Making Minnesota a better place.” A time for questions and answers will follow.
Eagles Club for Friday karaoke
Fairmont Eagles Aerie 3394 will have karaoke at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 28, at the Eagles Club building. Karaoke hosts vary per week. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. For additional information, visit the official Fairmont Eagles Club Facebook page.
Free testers at Recovery in Motion
Recovery in Motion in Fairmont will offer free-of-charge lifesaving Narcan nasal spray and fentanyl test strips to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 28 at 1100 Indus Street in Fairmont. Without the test strips, visitors can come and learn more about Recovery in Motion and its mission.
Improve your health at any age with Janice Novak
Janice Novak will teach a health improvement class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on April 1 in a Zoom meeting. Every day, your body makes about 330 billion new cells which means 3.8 million cells are replaced every second. This means every second is an opportunity to make every system in your body healthier. In this workshop, the class will discuss simple steps to help make every system in your body as healthy as possible.
