Stroke screenings at Knights of Columbus

Life Line Screening will have painless, non-invasive, clothed stroke screenings by appointment on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Knights of Columbus building in Fairmont. Using ultrasound technology, Life Line Screening professionals can examine arteries in search of plaque buildup, which is one of the leading causes of stroke and detrimental cardiovascular conditions. Low-vision support group to meet

CREST will hold a Low Vision Support Group at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 at the CREST office in Fairmont. The group provides reassurance and assistance to people living with vision related problems. Please consider sitting in on this meeting if you are experiencing some sort of visual problem. No registration is necessary and refreshments will be served following the meeting.
