Kiwanis to hear from debate team

Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speakers of the meeting will be Fairmont High School Debate Team coach Erik Walker and student Bel Lutterman. The public is invited to attend.

Eagles Club to hold Friday karaoke

Fairmont Eagles Aerie 3394 will have karaoke at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, at the Eagles Club building. Karaoke hosts vary per week. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. For additional information, visit the official Fairmont Eagles Club Facebook page.

Drag show to be held at Eagles Club

Fairmont Eagles Aerie 3394 will host a dinner and drag show at 5 p.m., with performances beginning at 8 p.m. on Jan. 25 at the Eagles Club building. Dinner and performances are $30, and dinner-only is $20. Attendants must be 18 years old. A collection of proceeds will support The Trevor Project, a mental health and suicide prevention organization for the LGBTQ+ community.
