Wednesday coffee at the Chubb House

The historic Chubb House in Fairmont is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays for coffee and more. Stop in to learn more about the first and only brick home in Martin County, and the man who built it in 1867 for his family; Dr. Orville P. Chubb. Get acquainted with Fairmont’s rich history and the volunteers who have worked hard to preserve this building. Joint relief with Janice Novak

Janice Novak will teach joint relief in her new class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 in a Zoom meeting. Joint lubrication exercises are simple and easy to do, yet produce rather remarkable results by helping to free joints of pain. The class will discuss which nutrients are needed to help keep joints healthy. Registration is required, costs $29, closes Jan. 23, and can be completed on the CER webstore.

ChatGPT training with Nickie Welsh

Social Club Simple adult enrichment instructor Nickie Welsh will go in-depth about ChatGPT and artificial intelligence in her new class from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28 in a Zoom meeting. Join the class to learn everything about ChatGPT, powered by Artificial Intelligence. Understand how it works and why it’s taking the world by storm. Participants will explore practical everyday uses for ChatGPT in both the workplace and at home, ensuring you stay in the loop when ChatGPT is mentioned in conversations and on the news.
