Class of 1961 to hold luncheon

Fairmont High School class of 1961, spouses and friends will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont.

First Congregational UCC in Fairmont is hosting a Cookie Walk, Bake & Craft Sale from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. Stop by to purchase cookies, baked goods, snacks, and crafts! Cookies are $12 per pound.

Novak to teach brain creativity

CER invites Janice Novak to teach neurological strategies in her new webinar from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 in a Zoom meeting. The class will discuss and do ancient breathing patterns to activate the right side of your brain where creativity lives. The class will do acupressure points that offer instant clarity and calm. Participants will learn the Energy Medicine technique called ‘Thumping’ to activate creative centers as well as how colors play a role in brain function. Registration is required, costs $29, and closes on Dec. 5.
