Kiwanis to hold early Wednesday meeting
Fairmont Early Risers Kiwanis will gather at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The featured speaker will be Jacob Hartke of Triple H Financial Services. ER Kiwanis is excited to hear from Jacob and what he can tell us about Triple H Financial Services. The community is invited to attend.
Humane Society to have bake sale
The Martin County Humane Society’s holiday bake sale fundraiser will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Fleet and Farm Supply and Ace Hardware. Proceeds from the sale will help with expenses and benefit the adoptable pets at the animal shelter in Fairmont. Gluten-free options will be available. All are welcome to attend.
Church to host turkey dinner
Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a free Community Turkey Dinner from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (or until the food is gone) on Sunday, Nov. 24. The menu will include roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, vegetables, homemade cranberry relish, pumpkin pie, and a beverage. Free-will donations will support children’s and family ministries. There will be a special Church Service at 10 a.m. followed by the meal in Fellowship Hall.
