Fall Wreath Craft for Disabled Adults

Kiwanis to hold Wednesday meeting
Fairmont Early Risers Kiwanis will gather at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The featured speaker will be Matt Skaret, the Fairmont City Administrator. Skaret will provide information about Fairmont in his speech. The community is invited to attend.
Adult Holiday Crafts at the Library
Join the Martin County Library in Fairmont at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the building to make holiday arts and crafts for ages 18 and up. Participants will make a holiday napkin ornament that they can take home upon completion. There is no cost to attend and pre-registration is not required. All supplies are provided. Dairy Princess Fun at the Library
Join the Martin County Library in Fairmont from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the building. Participants can enjoy various fun activities with Dairy Princesses Abby Calkins and Gabby Lange! This event is sponsored by the Martin County Dairy Association. Sons of Norway to have meeting Saturday
The Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge 1-538 will hold their next meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Cottonwood County Historical Society in Windom. The program will be given by Richard Doescher, Commander of the Lakefield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4743 Hanson-Ward Post. His presentation will cover his personal military history and will highlight historical and contemporary facts about the VFW, both local and national Posts. The mission of the Sons of Norway is to promote, preserve, and cherish a lasting appreciation for the heritage and culture of Norway and other Nordic cultures while growing soundly as a fraternal benefit society and offering maximum benefits to its members.
