Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast and an informative discussion beginning 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. There is no featured speaker this week but instead it will be a club meeting day where they will have discussions to plan and cast a vision for future events. The public is invited.

VBS for First Congregational UCC this Sunday

First Congregational United Church of Christ will hold a Vacation Bible School Summer Luau party from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, on the Shoen Farm located at 1135 570th Ave. rural Armstrong, Iowa. Transportation is available from the church. The day will be full of beach fun and learning about Christ. Wear swimwear/clothes that can get wet.
