FAIRMONT — Holly Christine Petrowiak and Garrett Lynn Balcom announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Larry and Dawn Petrowiak and Jon and Kathy Balcom.

Holly is a 2021 graduate of South Dakota State University and received her Bachelors’ degree in Community and Regional Planning with minors in Ag Business and Sustainability. She is employed as a Conservation Technician for the Martin Soil & Water Conservation District.

Garrett is a 2019 graduate of Minnesota West College in Jackson, Minn., and received his electrical degree. He is a certified journeyman employed for K&W Electric, Inc. in Fairmont, Minn.

The couple is planning a June 14, 2025 wedding with family and friends at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Chain, Minn. Reception to follow at the Fox Lake Event Center in Sherburn, Minn.
