Exchange Club sets meeting
Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature local world traveler and historian Millie Brodt, who will talk about her travels to Egypt during more peaceful times. Food and Fellowship continues tonight
St. John's United Church of Christ will host the final Community Food and Fellowship for the year from 5-7 p.m. tonight at the church, 301 N. Main St., Fairmont. They will serve turkey melt sandwiches, potato salad, pistachio salad, calico beans, cookies and a beverage. The cost is $8 per person. A portion of the proceeds will go to Martin County Humane Society and UHD Hospice. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Early Risers plan to meet Wednesday
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Moni Harper, branch manager of MRCI in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend.

Peace Group slates Friday meeting
Fairmont Area Peace Group will meet 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Judi Poulson, 1881 Knollwood Dr., in Fairmont. The speaker will be Brian Rusche, director of an interfaith group called Joint Religious Legislative Coalition, which works on issues like economic justice and poverty, human rights, human trafficking and payday lending. All area people are invited to attend.
