ST. LOUIS PARK - Memorial services for Robert Haas Brown, 90, of St. Louis Park, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Jones Harrison Care Center, 3700 Cedar Lake Ave., St. Louis Park, Minn. Interment will be held at a later date in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Robert was born March 7, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio. He passed away at Jones Harrison with his loving wife by his side on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. He was proud that he served in WWII as a paratrooper. While Bob lived in Fairmont, he worked as an advertising manager at Weigh-Tronix and later Sauck-Brown Advertising Agency. He was on the board of directors for the Chain of Lakes Halfway House and the Fairmont Opera House.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul; step-daughter, Shelly Terp; and step-son, Pat Young.
He is survived by wife, Joyce Brown; children, Danny, Paula, Dayle, Mike (Debbie) Brown; sister, Barbara (Mick) O'Connor; step-children, Mary Young, Mark Young, Lisa (Bryan) Rohs; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; step-son-in-law, Kris Terp; step-daughter-in-law, Judi Young and special family friend, Bill Teuteberg.
