FAIRMONT - Visitation for Ronald G. Fullerton, 71, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Ronald passed away Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn.
Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is in charge of arrangements.
Ronald Gene Fullerton was born March 18, 1942, in Beaver Falls, Minn., the son of George and Nellie (Caureth) Fullerton. On Nov. 18, 1968, Ron was united in marriage to Marilyn Meyer in Sioux Falls, S.D. The couple made their home in Fairmont, where Ron worked at Railway Motors for over 35 years before retiring. Ron and Marilyn raised two sons, Larry and Chad, and shared 45 years together.
Ron was a member of the Martin County Conservation Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ron especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marilyn Fullerton of Fairmont, Minn.; sons, Larry Fullerton of Jackson, Minn., and Chad Fullerton and his fiance, Amanda Eagan of Mankato, Minn.; grandchildren, Ariel Glover of Marshall, Minn., Aric Fullerton of Jackson, Minn., Alex Fullerton of Jackson, Minn., Cody Eagan of Mankato, Minn., and McKinley Eagan of Mankato, Minn.; siblings, Larry Fullerton and his wife, Jane, Robert Fullerton, Geraldine Gewerth and her husband, Herb, Joan Norton and her husband, Bob, Kathleen Burczyk and her husband, Ray, Bonnie Felvy, and Sheila Shafer; brother-in-law, Duane Kropuenske; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nellie Fullerton; and five siblings.
