EAST LANSING, Mich. - Funeral services for Pearl M. Faugust, 102, of East Lansing, formerly of Elmore, Minn., will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at East Chain Evangelical Free Church, 507 280th Ave., Granada, Minn. Interment will be in Harrison Township Cemetery, Swea City, Iowa.
Pearl passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, in Lansing, Mich. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at the church in Granada.

Pearl was born Dec. 24, 1910, in Ordway, Colo., to Alexander and Martha Ellen (Pound) MacAninch. Pearl was a resident of East Lansing since 1980. She devoted her life to missionary work and was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Fellowship, Lansing, Mich., and East Chain Evangelical Free Church in Granada, Minn. Pearl will be remembered as an avid MSU fan, especially when it was basketball season.
Surviving to cherish her memory are several nieces, nephews and a cousin, as well as thousands of spiritual children and friends. Pearl will be especially missed by special friends and caregivers of 33 years, Sandra Thompson and Maxine Hewett.
Pearl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charley, in 1979; and two brothers.
