FAIRMONT - And the winners are ...

After the last checkered flag was waved at Fairmont Raceway on Thursday night, the seasonal points champions emerged from the five different divisions.

Nate Coopman defended his compacts title while claiming double wins in the process during championship night in Fairmont.

Luke Sathoff, the stock car points winner, came close to winning both his races, but just missed claiming the feature race.

Dustin Larson, the second-place finisher in the points standings, won Heat 2 before speeding past Sathoff for the checkered in the stocks' main event on Thursday night.

Sathoff claimed the Heat 1 win en route to earning the season's crown.

Justin Luinenburg took home double wins in the championships, winning Heat 1 and the feature during hobby stocks racing action.

Unfortunately for Luinenburg, Jeremy Wegner took home the season title with a third-place finish in the feature.

Jeff Senne won the second heat in the hobby stocks, finishing second in the feature.

Fairmont's Kyle Steuber raced to a pair of victories in the sport mods division, winning both Heat 2 and the feature races.

Sport mods points champion Matthew Looft won the opening heat to claim his title.

Modifieds points champion Roger Nielsen raced his way to a first-place finish in Heat 2 of the division during Thursday night's action.

Denny Anderson and Josy Ruby claimed the other heat victories in the class, with Tyler Limoges taking home the feature win.
